Yesterday, FenwayNation placed a poll on the site asking if the Red Sox should pursue Albert Pujols—were he to become a free agent at the end of this year. We took some heat for even presuming to ask the question. Today, the Globe's Peter Abraham (who has a lot more credibility that we do) deals with the issue in his morning column. Although he includes appropriate disclaimers about the possibility of this ever happening, he does an interesting job in pointing out how the Red Sox could do it financially.
