We did it again, Sharon and I took another road trip in the back roads of Arizona looking for more abandoned places. With maps in hand, we took along our friend Vinnie to be a part of the fun. Our first stop was supposed to be an abandoned farmhouse slightly off the road, but we couldn't find it. We spotted an unusual structure off in the distance and took the dirt road to check it out. Before we got near the building or whatever it was, we saw what looked like a small area the locals used as a dump. Not to overlook a place that might have interesting finds, we stopped to see if Sharon could get a reading on one of the objects. She found this little bear doll and picked up something from it. She decided that the doll needed to come home with her and gave the little thing the name of "Junkyard Annie". While Sharon and I took pictures and video of the sad remains, our friend Vinnie wandered around the desert surrounding the dump to see what interesting things he could find. The sad little dump had many mattresses lying around as if someone may have used it as a makeshift home at one time. Whatever this place once was, it became our first abandoned place of the day.
