The Red Sox have still not decided whether to "post" a bid for 26-year old switch-hitting SS Tsuyoshi Nishioka. In 2010, he hit .346 for the Lotte Marines of the Japanese Pacific League. His 206 hits make him the first player to get 200 in that league since Ichiro Suzuki.With word that 35-year old Marco Scutaro is attracting interest from other teams, and with Lowrie and Iglesias still question marks at SS, Nishioka could slide right into to the position. Hey, wouldn't you like to see an Ichiro Lite in the Sox middle infield? If the Sox haven't been soured on the Japanese posting process because of Dice-K, they may actually go out and get "T-Nish"!
