I have been super busy with school (graduation in just one more semester!) and work and have not had a lot of time to update this offseason, which was not what I wanted to happen.

However, I plan on resuming activity on the site possibly as early as this week.

So please...do not delete your bookmarks and your RSS links!!!

First of all, let me send a sincere thank you to anyone who visits or has visited The Bronx Stop.  I hope that you found your time worthwhile and interesting.  Like every Blogger, I wouldn't do it if it weren't for you so please keep coming!!!  
Second of all, just a few new features I would like to share with everyone.  

The "Search This Blog" feature now only searches posts that contain your keyword.  They are then displayed in chronological order starting with the most recent and moving on to the oldest. 
Also, after clicking a specific post, you will be given a list of related posts by category.  This should help to refer you to more material you may be interested in learning about. 
Another cool feature is the "Feeling Lucky" link in the right hand sidebar.  By clicking this link you will be automatically taken to a random post from the past.  It is pretty fun to see what comes up. 
Anyways, just thought I would let everyone know! 
The Yankees have a crucial offseason coming up, and I look forward to being right there with you during every breaking news story!!!

Hey everyone.  I want to apologize for the lack of updates recently.  School just started back up and I have started a new job, so time has been pretty scarce while I get in the groove of my new schedule.  

Jeeeeeeeeezzzzz.....things have been pretty ugly, huh?!?  Ahhh...I had such high hopes for this team in 2008...butttt there is always next year right!?!  

I will try to post some of my thoughts on this Yankees team and some things that I think they can do to improve in the offseason in the days to come, so please stay tuned.  

And lets remember, as the legendary Yogi Berra once said...

"It Ain't Over 'Till It's Over...."

So keep pulling for 'em....!

I have been wanting to do this for awhile now, but haven't had the time.

The site is completely revamped from head to toe with a new color scheme, easy navigation, better readability, and more content.

Please feel free to browse around. The stats page is linked directly to baseball-reference statistics, an upgrade over MLB.com's stats page like the old Bronx Stop linked to. The schedule is directly from ESPN.com, so everything should be correct there.

The Bronx Stop will soon celebrate a very impressive feat; 10,000 hits. This is impressive for many reasons. I do not completely understand the "blogosphere" but I do know that the administrator has put a lot of time and effort into this website and for someone with little previous blogging experience, I think he had done a wonderful job.
