I have been so busy with my new Grand-daughter and Mike's new job has kept him very busy too, so I am adding some paranormal videos for your enjoyment. I tried to find the more interesting ones. Whether they are real or not, I just don't know. I am working on a few articles to add here soon.

Episode One: Above the Norm or Below the Norm?
I had this fun idea for us to discuss! I have come across some videos on YouTube of people claiming they have caught a ghost on camera! I will tell you right now that none of these are those stupid videos of something jumping out at you at the end of it. I hate watching a video and being scared s**tless, so I had to watch these videos on silent the first time just to make sure!! So we will call this the first part of a series! I will find some videos, post them on here and I will give my personal opinion if it is fake or real. Then we can discuss the videos through comments! So to quote Heath Ledgers joker from The Dark Knight, "And here, we, GO!"
1. Security Camera Hallway Ghost
OK, so I'm pretty convinced this one is fake. I think this so called "security camera" footage is a little to clear. The image of the supposed ghost looks to me like a woman edited in with some neat fading technique. I say: below the norm. What do you think?
2. Parking Garage Ghost
This is actually quite a famous video. Well it was at one point. This was the famous ghost woman caught on a parking garage security camera. People have analyzed the video a lot and we have many explanations going both ways. Some say it's a person who just walks behind the concrete beam and the distance from the camera just makes it look like a "ghost". Some say it's a rewound tape of a person walking from their car. I've actually always thought this one felt legit. I say: Above the Norm! What do you think?
3. Gas Station Ghost
This one was on the news for a while not to long ago. This is a very recent ghost sighting. An odd blue "blob" like thing was seen floating around a gas station and was caught on camera. I actually don't know where to go with this one. I mean it seems a bit strange for a ghost. It's a hazy, blue blob...not something we typically think of as a ghost. Then again, I've never really seen a legit ghost before, so how should I know?? I do think it is out of the ordinary though. Just don't know what. I say: Slightly Above the Norm. What do you think?
4. Crying Girl Ghost
This video spooked the hell out of me the very first time I saw it. On the youtube page a commenter said that these videos were recently debunked, but I haven't actually seen anything on that. However I do believe it is fake. Because of the reaction of the guy. If I saw that, I would piss my pants, drop the camera and run away screaming at the top of my lungs (but I'm kind of a wuss). I say: Below the Norm. What do you think?
5. The Ghost Car Chase
This is a cool video, that I think is just weird. This was on some police show, and they nicknamed it the ghost car. The cop is chasing the car, which is weaving like crazy, then starts driving normal, then goes back to crazy. Suddenly, the car makes a turn, and the cop turns with it but as the cop turns there is a fence. But somehow the car he is chasing is on the other side. A story came out that said the car was found a few days later in a lake with a skeleton inside and that the car had been missing for years. That story is probably fake. But I think this video is legit! I say: Above the Norm. What do you think?

Freaky Flicks: Paranormal Activity: Evidence of a Haunting
Hello readers! As you may know, on the TAGO blog I started a new blog series called "Freaky Flicks" where I will inform you of some new scary movies that are coming out or are just rumors at this point. Today I come to you with a movie that has no official release date yet, but has already spooked the crap out of many film fest fans. It is called Paranormal Activity: Evidence of a Haunting. The premise is fairly simple:
"A young couple suspects that their house is haunted by a malevolent entity. They set up video surveillance to capture evidence of what happens at night as they sleep. Their surveillance and home videos have been edited into the 99 minute feature film "Paranormal Activity".
This is a film, much like The Poughkeepsie Tapes, that has been tossed around, seen by few, and doesn't have a clear release date. This film was shown at a film festival called Slamdance a few years back (2007) and was a huge success. So big in fact that Dreamworks Pictures loved it and bought the rights to the film. Initially their plan was to remake the film and "Hollywood-ize" it which many fans on message boards really hated. The original film was receiving rave reviews out of the festival, especially remarks for being incredibly daring and original, not to mention scary as hell. So fans could not fathom why Dreamworks would want to fix something that was clearly never broken.
My thoughts were that maybe Dreamworks doesn't think a film like this, that is very low budget would hack it in the box office. But honestly, most horror films don't. I picture them casting some fairly big names, and doing away with the hand held camera effect. Now I haven't seen the original film, but to me the no name actors and the hand held effect are the things that would make the movie great. Recently someone announced Dreamworks has decided to pull the plug on the remake and just release the original film (which again is just a rumor I saw online, and have NO proof of this statement) and still there is no release date for any version of this movie.
Yes, the whole movie is hand held camera. I know it's been done a lot lately, especially since the success of The Blair Witch Project and more recently, Cloverfield. But to me, this is the type of film where this style of film making would work the absolute best. It makes for a more realistic and gritty horror film. The effect practically would put the audience in the shoes of the characters in the film. We would essentially be experiencing the ghostly happenings just as they do, which for me makes a very, very creepy and bone chilling movie.
I would like to share with you some of the reviews the film did receive from the film festival. People have gone as far to say that Paranormal Activity may very well be the single most terrifying film ever made. Yikes! Here are some review snipets:
