Along with the loss of the subsidy from Texas, the Yankees still can’t believe that A-Rod didn’t have the courtesy to at least talk to them first. Cashman, Hank Steinbrenner and Hal Steinbrenner all reached out to Rodriguez and he blew them off."

The last couple of days I got the sinking feeling that A-rod would still end up coming back to NY. This news makes me feel better.
